Dell Inspiron Duo

The Dell Inspiron Duo is not the first convertible tablet style netbook, but it is the first convertible with a telescopic rollover. The Duo has not yet begun to ship, but since Dell introduced a concept it has received much attention. And now the little netbook has inspired a knockoff.

A Chinese computer is a bit like the Inspiron duo was spotted in the wild. This machine also has a display that tilts back so you can convert the laptop into tablet mode. But in this case the whole eyelid turns, not just the display.

Sheet-wise, it is standard netbook fare. While the Duo Inspiron has a 10-inch screen, Atom processor dual core and 2GB of RAM, its knockoff has a 8.9 inch screen, a processor core Atom N450, 1GB of RAM and a 120GB hard drive . The capacitive touch screen with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. The machine runs Windows 7. It also has an SD card slot, Ethernet, VGA, USB, webcam and microphone jacks.
