Asus has launched a new multimedia notebook. The K73 Asus has a 17.3-inch screen and the latest Intel Core series processors Sandy Bridge.
The K73 Asus will be available in two models. While K73SV has an option in the form of discrete graphics NVIDIA GeForce 540M GT, the K73E graphics are not discrete. Instead, it relies on integrated Intel GMA graphics HD.
Both notebooks are available with dual core Intel Core 2310M-i3, i5 processor 2410M-or quad-core Core i7-2630QM. Other specifications include 750 GB HDD, up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM and a DVD player or Blu-ray combo.
The 17.3-inch LED backlit display with a resolution of 1600 x 900 pixels.
The K73 Asus comes pre-loaded with operating system Windows 7. It also has a 0.3 megapixel webcam, HDMI and VGA outputs, WiFi, Bluetooth (optional), speakers, Altec-Lansing, Gigabit Ethernet LAN, 4 USB 2.0 ports and an SD / MS / MMC memory card. The device weighs about 7 kg with the battery to six cells. No word on pricing or availability yet.
